Mexican Village Restaurant

Delicious food, drinks, fryed ice cream!!!! Fast and great service Historical restaurant been around since 1958. Angela was the best server really nice fast and product best service ever .

Not sure if other people have a love for Mexican but I do and Mexican Village in Detroit has been my go to for 40 years. They have been located in the same place and by the taste of their authentic Mexican food, it seems like the same people have been cooking. It's the best! My daughter and I went to a Detroit Pistons game and decided to swing by for dinner before the game. Great thinking on my behalf because we got great food, quickly and inexpensively. Inside tip, the margaritas are wonderful and inexpensive. Enjoy!

Delicious, hot-off-the-grill, 'the-good-stuff' ingredients (never had cheese so rich and melty-strongly-chewy-melty-flavorful before!). Decently expedient service (not the fastest, but not the slowest either; plus, we had a large group during a slow time of day - we may have unfairly sneak-attacked them). Their chips and salsa (mild or hot if you prefer) appeared to have been home made - both very fresh and delicious. Service was friendly. Atmosphere inside as nice and warm-feeling (you wouldn't expect it from the outside; not sure what they can do about it, but the outside definitely doesn't do it justice; doesn't let drive-by or pedestrian commuters realize there's a fantastic restaurant inside). Prices were very fair, not the cheapest I've ever seen, but definitely cheaper than some restaurants that are less authentic and less filling. Would definitely go back!

Went with my lovely Sister, had spinach enchiladas dinner, it's been a while. Food was great, felt safe parking my car. Taking a menu back to Ann Arbor with me.

Food was served promptly and Hot. Drinks were Cold and quenching. Parking was easy across the street. Felt perfectly safe. Large tastey portions.

Great location for a fun and laidback event. The food was excellent and they care so much about making their customers happy. Bar service was a bit off though. They did not inform guests of all options and thus no one got to try the Sangria until I went to the manager. But, the bar tender was excellent with kids and made them the cutest mock tails! We will definitely host more events there!

Our family has been dining at Mexican Village for years, it's always been a favorite of our children and now our grandchildren. While visiting today the hospitality afforded us by Karen, our server, was exceptional. Everything was done with a smile and while we were certainly not her only table she took excellent care of our group. Karen is an asset to your restaurant and we will request her in the future.
